About Us

Who we are

Rural Development and Youth Association (RUDEYA) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with over 20 years’ experience in environment, forestry, agriculture, natural resource management and community development projects. Our current focus include Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFP’s) Development and Utilization, Independent Forest Monitoring (IFM) and capacity building programs for forest fringe communities to access social responsibility agreements for community development programs.

Currently, we are training communities to develop Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) using ecological based adaptation to build resilience to climate change impacts. RUDEYA is a member of Forest Watch Ghana. Our current partners CISS, NECPAD, RMSC, and donor are EU, FAO, ITTO. RUDEYA is registered under the Registrar General’s Department in Accra since 1991.
